Literature Text

My gut clutches for the first time in centuries as I stare at the only thing, a mortal human, that can make my worthless immortal life mean something. My hollow dead soul seems to shine bright with her presence.

I cower in the shadows, afraid of the oncoming pain. Of the light. I run my hand through my tousled dark brown hair that has fallen out of place. I inhale deeply savouring the scent. Her scent, a vibrance that had brought me all but crawling, just to smell it again. I shut my eyes, my soulless pits, as the smell threatens to overwhelm my enhanced senses.

Dark fragments of my haunted past flash past and I swear it tears a gorge down my already broken heart.

---

In bright light, being accused of a mistaken nature, her scarlet blood, runs away. Her torturous screams rupture through the air. Her pleading sliver eyes begging me. Crying out for her saviour. CAN'T THEY SEE, SHE IS BLEEDING -DYING!!
...human...

I'd promised to protect her, forever and always.

I can't, not like this. I shake my head at her, my dark eyes stoic as my body convulses. Her face caves as fear becomes prominent in her silver eyes, shining like the moon under siege. The whip snaps against her body. A scream bursts through her plump lips that I have kissed so passionately. I can't take it, I run, bolt away from her. Flee. I abandon my only love.

---

My eyes shoot open and my lost soul flares as she turns around, letting her golden hair sail through the cold wind. Silver eyes stare at me, wide and open, showing recognition. There she stands, my love. I want to cower away. I want to exist.

'Not without her', a little voice contradicts.

I step into the searing light, wincing as the irrevocable pain strikes. I keep walking towards her, my whole world. I stand before her, dying inside, but focusing solely on her. My breath catches as I see how her silver eyes watch with a love and devotion that had been present in another life. I pull her to me, pressing my cold lips hard against hers.

My body blazes as the fire between us beams. I pull away and let out a sigh of pure affection and yearning. She stares at me clinging, refusing to let go. "I know my life, my love." I whisper. She places her soft hands upon my cheek as I slowly begin to fade. The light taking me. I smile, letting my eyes shine with the soul that she has granted me.

I inhale her scent for the final time and lower my head to her ear. I push away her luscious hair and whisper softly "I am forever yours". I feel her shiver against me and my heart cries as I leave again. Forever.

She knows now, what I am.

That I love her.

As the sun burns my being, I die feeling alive...
In my opinion, this is a little weak  tell me what you think ^^

1) Yes the title makes sense and adds a bit more romance to it
2) Yes I like how the flash back centuries ago is detailed...
3) Yes if he wasn't a coward I would like Dracula lol the effect is that love will set you free and for him it did literally but the way he says goodbye is very brave.
4) Yes
5) the only improvement I can think of is just the little spelling errors that you have, keep your eyes open for those and that's it really :D
6) Check
7) 7.8
